What’s better than one fabulous place to eat on the beach? Two places. When well-established entrepreneurs in Oak Island, North Carolina decided to open a burger bus along with a sister ice cream shop, they wanted branding to simplify the concept as well as visuals that would stand out to the fun-loving, beach-going crowd.
The first step was a pair of logos that compliment each other, while still giving each establishment its own identity. Then we looked for ways to spread the good-times vibe, using beach imagery for a tongue-in-cheek way to get people’s attention on signage, t-shirts and collateral items–and most importantly, the OKI Burger Bus food truck.
